HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS
Tuesday, March 7th to Friday, April 30th at Clubhouse
Activity committee members will sell tickets for scheduled ticketed events Monday mornings after the general activities meeting, Wednesday 11:30 - 1:00 and Saturday morning 8:30-9:30. Note: Tickets will be for sale during these times even if meals are not being served. If paying by cash, please try to bring the exact amount. If paying by check, please make your check payable to IW Activities Committee (IWAC). If reserved seating is an option, don't forget to fill out your table reservation!
 
HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY & POT LUCK
Saturday, October 31st, 5:00 pm at Clubhouse
Halloween Costumes encouraged but not required, though prizes are fabulous! Bring a dish to pass and participate inthe fun!
 
THANKSGIVING DINNER BY BETTY & ROGER
Thursday, November 26th, 3:00 pm at Clubhouse
Betty and Roger are teaming up once again to prepare a whole turkey, dressing and gravy for your table. Bring your own place settings.  Social hour at 3 pm/ Dinner at 4 pm. This is the best Thanksgiving feast in all of SW Florida. $5.00 per person. Watch for ticket sale dates and don't forget to fill out your table reservation form. 
 
CHICKEN SHOOT
Saturday, December 5th, 7:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
$5.00 bucks to cluck! This is an indescribable event! Chicken Little shows up. Sometimes the Colonel shows too! A combo bingo/poker format is easy and fun. Feel free to buy multiple cards to increase your competitiveness! Change out your cards if you're not yelling "Chicken Shoot". 39 Rotisserie chickens will find a new home!  Side bets encouraged - maybe even a little chicken dance. Bring your own snacks and beverages. 
 
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, BAKE SALE & BREAKFAST!
Saturday, December 5th, 8:30 am to 11:30 am at CLUBHOUSE
Shop local! We have wonderfullly talented artisans in "The Wilderness"!  Jewelery, upcycled fashion wear, arts, csrafts, gifted fiber artists- you name it, they make it. Enjoy breakfast and a ymmy bake sale. 
 
CHRISTMAS BRUNCH
Saturday, December 12th, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at CLUBHOUSE
Our volunteers have planned a really fun and festive five-station bruch for your holiday pleasure. Wear your holiday attire and pop into the photo booth for a photo with Sana, Mrs. Clause and the Wilderness Elves! Enjoy a beverage bar, hot buffet, omelet station, spinach salad bar with delicious hot bacon dressing and a gourmet dessert bar! Enjoy a leisurely holiday dining experience. Only 200 tickets sold/ no reserved seating $15 per person. 
 
TWEETS & SWEETS CONCERT & DESSERT
Sunday, December 13th, 7:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
The New Horizon's Band delivers the holiday concert tweets! The Activities Committee provides the sweets! This event is a favorite holiday tradition. It's free though the band passes the Santa hat!

PET PARADE/GOLF CART PARADE/LIGHTING CONTEST/ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Sunday, December 20th, 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
The annual Pet Parade is scheduled for  1:00 pm. Note time change and remember it is never too early to shop for festive holiday wear for your pet This is a very fun and festive event! Don't miss it and remember to get there early to register for the  pet parade! Fabulous prizes awarded.
 
The Golf Cart Parade and sing-along is also a highly anticipated event? Decorate your carts. Line up at dusk in the clubhouse parking lot. Fabulous prizes! Several neighborhoods have fun Santa Stops!  Participants will be treated to all forms of refreshments from fireball shots to sweet and savory snacks and desserts. Let's make this the BEST parade ever...who will  be the Grand Marshal? 
 
The lighting contest is judged earlier in the month and prize winners are announced during the ice cream social. Again, fabulous cash prizes!
 
Ice cream social at 7:00 pm. Bring your own bowl and spoon. Maybe there will be karaoke/Christmas songs. 
 
 
 
 
CHRISTMAS EVE GATHERING

Join your IWCA friends and neighbors for a Christmas Eve gathering. Bring an appetizer to share along with your beverages. The IWCA Shelling Group has the 2020 Christmas Ornament for your collection.  This is a free event for all residents and holiday guests. 
 
CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER BY CHEF JEFF
Friday, December 25th, 4:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
Chef Jeff is set to prepare and serve another fabulous prime rib dinner in IWCA! Avoid the holiday crowds and enjoy the holiday decorations in the clubhouse along with a wonderful, festive meal. Prime rib, salad, potatoes, vegetables and home-made dessert. Bring your own place settings and beverages. Social hour 4 pm/ dinner 5 pm.  $25.00 per person. 
 
NEW YEAR'S EVE DANCE WITH CAHLUA & CREAM
Thursday, December 31st, 7:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse is transformed by our wonderful decorating committee! The performers are IW favorites! Don and Lesly comprise Cahlua & Cream and are voted the best in entertainment in "Gulf Shore Life" magazine's poll two years consecutively.  Their shows feature such artists as Diana Ross, Petula Clark, Tina Turner and Whitney Houston, as well as hits from the Broadway stage. This is a lovely opportunity to celebrate New Year's Eve. Reserved tables. $15 per person/$20 at the door. Ticket on sale Monday following Activities Meeting, Wednesday 11:30-1:00 pm, Saturdays 8:30 to 9:30
 
FIRST FRIDAY ON THE POOL DECK
Friday, January 8th, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE POOL DECK
Due to New Year's Day, this event is one week later. So, second Friday this month! BYOB! Bring finger food to share and a beverage! Bring a chair if you like. Enjoy the MP Band! This is a free event. The music is great. This has become a crowd favorite!  Join in the fun and bring some cash for "Pass the Hat" in appreciation for the musicians in the Multi-Park Band. 
 
DANCE TO HOT DAMN
Tuesday, January 12th, 7:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
Hot DAMN is a IWCA favorite! Norm plays a smoking lead guitar and Debbie plays a zeta sandup bass.  Both are vocalists complimenting each other with harmonies. They boast a repertoire of over 1,000 songs. The mechanical drum machine keeps the dance beat moving.  On some gigs you will see them with a live drummer. Your will hear country music from today's top 40 to  country songs made famous as far back as 40 years ago. You can also expect to hear songs ranging from the 50's, 60's and 70's classic rock.

POT ROAST DINNER
Friday, January 15th, 5:00 pm at CLUBHOUSE
Carol & Crew have this event down pat! Tender, delicious roast beef will simmer all day. Served with potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, beverage and carrot cake for dessert. This is a sell-out event. Watch for ticket price and sale dates! Don't forget to fill out your table reservation forms. Bring your own tableware and BYOB . Social hour 5:00 pm - Dinner 6:00 pm.
 
CANADIAN/EAST COAST POTLUCK

Allison, Joan and Cathy have teamed up to host this potluck! Share your favorite recipe at this potluck and be prepared to have some kind of fun! Social Hour 4-5pm- Dinner 5 pm. Stay tuned for details.
 
NEWCOMERS COFFEE
Monday, January 18th, 10:00 am at CLUBHOUSE
All newcomers to "The Wilderness" are invited to this Newcomers Coffee including renters and new owners. You will have the opportunity to hear from Activities Committee Chairperson Judy Hughes, IWCA Manager Tim Johns and Board of Director's President Bill Hughes. You will receive a nice welcome packet with gifts to acquaint you with all of the events and activities at IWCA. Refreshments will be served! Don't miss out!  Following the Monday weekly Activities meeting.
