Calendar of Events

The Technology Committee was asked to review the present Comcast contract (cable tv incl. and additional fee for internet) that is to scheduled for renew/replace in October 2020. 
We met witih Marcie Gershoni President of Community Cable Consultants and her associate Mark Bluestein Director of Business Development. Community Cable Consultants negotiated our current Comcast contract. They also represent a client base of 70 Associations in Florida.
In a continuing effort to provide clarity and transparency to our residents, we have asked CCC to review our current contract and present a review/update of services promised/delivered in our current Comcast contract. Secondly, they will present an overview of changing technology trends and opportunities that the IWCA/Technology Committee/BOD may consider as we look to negotiate cable/internet options for 2020 when our current contract expires.
On Monday, March 25th at 9:30, Marcie and Mark will give a presentation to the General Activity Meeting attendees on the standing of our current Comcast contract as well as their services in negotiating on behalf of communities like ours.This is an information only meeting.
