Gospel music returns to Imperial Wilderness due to popular demand.
This Sunday January 6th the Gospel Concert with Patsy Adkins and Bobby Austin will be something you really don't want to miss. Patsy said Bobby Austin has some Elvis like talents and it is not out of the question that dancing to the gospel music is encouraged? Hmmmmmm
So on Sunday January 6th from 4:30 to 6:00 PM you can listen to some Gospel music, or dance if you are so moved; and then to top the evening off have a scoop of ice cream (incl. in your ticket price) before returning home. A sweet ending to a nice Sunday in the Wilderness.
Tickets will be sold on Saturday January 5th during breakfast hours from 8:30 to 9:30 am....$10 pp

The Eleventh Annual Imperial Wilderness Memorial / Celebration of Life Service will be held this coming Sunday evening (January 27th) at the IW Clubhouse. This annual service honors the lives of both current and former IW residents whom we have lost in the past year. A rolling picture program will be started at approximately 6:30 p.m. and the musical prelude will begin at 6:50 p.m. We would appreciate it if attendees would be seated at the start of the musical prelude.
The lives we are honoring this year are: William Boulay, Mary Ellen Brown, Paul "Julio" Cholak, Alice Carothers, Dane Merritta, Lincoln Emery, Henry "Bernie" Ernst, Leon Garrant, Janet Gemin, David Lees, David Linsday, Anne Munroe, Jean Nogafsky, Roderick O'Brien, John Palazzo, Robert Pelkie, Marge Schaal, and Glen Wilson.
Following the service, cookies and punch will be provided for a social time with family and friends.

IWCA Town Hall Meeting

Immediately after the Activities Meeting on Monday, January 28, Tim Johns, Park Manager and BOD President Bill Hughes will hold a Town Hall session to update residents on current items of interest, answer any questions and provide an opportunity to voice concerns.
