POP-UP HAPPY HOUR! The Hospitality Committee (known elsewhere as THE WELCOME WAGON)  is hosting this event for newcomers and old friends! Join Anne Booth and her volunteers! Meet new friends! Make your own music, enjoy the new patio furniture! BYOB and finger food. A swell time will be had by all! 4-6 PM! Thanks for cleaning up and leaving "no trace"!

Clucking, some form of bingo and poker sort of define this event The Colonel has shown up along with our resident Chicken. Add thirty-nine rotisserie chickens to the event, side bets, BYOB and snacks! Do you get the idea that you just have to be there to get it? Just go! Bring $5 to cluck! Additional cards available! You can't win if you don't enter!

Join Chris Allin and friends to celebrate the life of Butch Allin-a long time resident of IW. Butch and Chris conducted the Blood Drive and weekly blood pressure clinics at IWCA and Butch volunteered in many other ways in our community. Following the pot luck, Butch's friends will also serve the ice cream social. All are welcome.

Our Comcast Community Rep Cory Simpson will be onsite to review Comcast offerings. He will provide info on what our "bundled cable" offers in terms of programs and what add-ons are available to purchase. Learn how to maximize Xfinity offerings by streaming programs on your devices. He will demonstrate new product offerings and answer questions. This will not involve equipment exchanges nor does the Community Rep answer contractual questions. Refreshments are provided/first come/first serve!

If you've signed up for a cruise with Cruise Director Doris Poshak you will want to be at this meeting for travel details.

Welcome all newcomers-owners and renters alike! Enjoy refreshments! Meet your IWCA Manager Tim Johns, BOD President Bill Hughes, Activities Committee Chairperson Judy Hughes and our very own "welcome Wagon"! Meet your neighbors! Learn about the season schedule and how to get tickets for many of our sold-out events throughout the season! Learn about recycling and all of the activities that you are welcome to participate in! IWCA is a "lifestyle community" with over 100 activities happening in and around our clubhouse every week! Our Activity Leaders will be on hand to answer questions from church to card groups/bingo, to golf/pickleball/petanque and our #1 shuffleboard team. Welcome gifts are presented to each newcomer AT this meeting!

Chris D. is preparing one of his specialties-Chicken Picante! The committee will have a 50/50 raffle and wonderful gift baskets to raffle off! If you would like to contribute gifts-perhaps regional specialties from your northern home, please feel free to bring them along with you for this 2020 event! Let's help the Dog Park Committee reach their fund raising goal for this added community amenity for our four-legged family members!

Our amazing quilters bring potluck once a month-the third Tuesday of each month during "season". It's worth it to learn to sew just to attend!

Neon Summer is a country vocal group consisting of Marty Short, Angela Short, and Anna Ash. The band formed in their home state of Virginia, leading to performances at the legendary Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, and a stand out show on The Grand Ole Opry. The band has opened on tour for Keith Urban, Eric Paslay, Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels, Marty Stuart, and many other top names in Country music. Neon Summer is currently touring Florida and the Southeast, gearing up for 2020 shows at venues and festivals around the country, including IWCA!

IWCA residents have the opportunity to donate blood three times annually during the season. The sign-up sheet is in the multi-purpose room. Butch Allin coordinated the blood drives in recent years with his wife Chris. Butch passed away in 2019 and this drive is held in his memory. Help save lives and donate today! You will receive a tee shirt, too!
