The first Monday of each month, the full Activities Committee holds an Activities Meeting and a business meeting. This is a great way to keep up on all of the things happening at IWCA. Bring your own reusable cup for coffee and get free coffee-otherwise it's .25! Help us keep styrofoam out of our landfill!  Bring change for treats. Meet new owners and renters. Learn about the many things happening in our "lifestyle community" and find out all of the ways in which you can volunteer. This is the place to be on Monday morning! See you there!

 Meet the Candidates, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 11:00 a.m. at the Clubhouse and VIA ZOOM (ZOOM Instructions will be sent out at a later date). 
Questions for the candidates MUST be signed and submitted by December 29, 2021.
 
They can be dropped off at the office, to the attention of Irene Brooks, Office Manager or email Irene at ireneiwca@aol.com
NO questions will be taken from the floor on that day.
Each candidate will have the opportunity to respond to each question.

The Activities Committee meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. If you have questions, would like to propose an event or have business with the Activities Committee you are welcome to attend at 10 AM.

Two performances for one ticket price! Jo Schmitt has arranged a bang-up performance this evening! The first hour features "duos" by famous vocal artists sung by Tom Becker and Michelle Becker. The second hour features a variety of duets! What fun for a concert and dance evening!

 

Tom and Michelle Becker have been together since 1966. They have received numerous awards and have performed in 40 states, Europe and the Caribbean. Their upbeat approach to 6 decades of music should make for a dynamic evening of listening music pleasure.  As the concert draws to a close they will preview their John Denver Tribute.....perhaps for a return visit to IW next season!
 
Tickets will be on sale Thursday January 6th 9:00 to 10:00AM in the Library at the Clubhouse. This is your last chance to get tickets at this price! 

 

Tickets will be available at the door on Saturday for $20.

The Blue Stream Team will host the Activities Meeting Coffee! After the meeting (approximately 9:30), the Blue Stream Team will offer a demo to aquaint owners and renters with all of the features that Blue Stream offers so we are all able to maximize our video entertainment opportunities!Don't miss this informative presentation/demo. The Blue Stream Team will be available to meet with you individually after the meeting to answer your questions. Plan to attend! You just might learn something!

The carpeting throughout the clubhouse will be cleaned on Thursday, January 20th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The carpet requires several hours drying time so the clubhouse will remain closed Thursday from 8 AM until 4 PM. Thank you for observing these hours.

 The Annual Meeting begins at 1 pm. Owners only welcome!

The new Board is holding a workshop on Monday 01/24/22 about 10:00 a.m. (immediately following the Activities Meeting).  All owners are welcome, and please feel free to bring your top three priorities that you want addressed, if any.  The Board will not be discussing all topics at that time but it will get the ball rolling.

M.A.B. The Mark Anthony Band is Florida’s Ultimate variety Cover Band & Best Tribute Show IN THE U.S.!
If you haven’t heard of this band, you are missing out. This is one of the best-kept secrets the Tampa Bay area has in the way of bands.
Mark Anthony Band plays a great variety of rock music and has a large following of fans that will travel all around the Bay area to see them play. Having been around for over eight years, this is a real favorite in SW Florida and we are thrilled to bring M.A.B. to "the Wilderness". Details to follow!

Volunteers are welcome to sign up to help with the ice cream social to follow at 7 PM 'cause that's what we Midwesterners do! Details announced at Monday Activities Meetings.

 

Midstate potluck committee is furnishing fried chicken. please sign up in the multipurpose room the number of people that will be attending in your party by Wednesday, January 26 so the committee knows how much chicken to order.
