Calendar of Events

The Activities Committee will convene the first meeting of the season; location to be determined. We will review clubhouse opening schedule, the event calendar including November events, Christmas lighting/decorating, placement of windscreens on the sports courts, replacement of treadmill and equipment repair in the exercise room and  cleaning of lobby upholstery in preparation for the clubhouse reopening.

Bruno the crooner is back and ready to entertain! He even vrought his own sound system! Join your friends for a happy, happy hour on the pool deck! BYOB in a non-breakable container and snacks to share. Bring a lawn chair, sit back and enjoy the first gathering of the season! Tap your toes, dance and sing along if you like! Be sure to help clean up! Leave no trace! See you there!

The clubhouse might be closed but there's a lot of ACTIVITY happening in "The Wilderness"! Come to the first Monday Activities Meeting outside the clubhouse on the patio! Sit in your golf cart or bring a chair. Bring your own coffee this time around and find out all the latest happenings in our great community!Treats are provided by the Activities Committee. BOD President Grace Rogers will be on the agenda along with our new HOA Manager Steve Jablonski. We have lots of information to share! See you there!

The  Budget Workshop  is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, at 2:00 PM.    This is a virtual event and the invitation and link will be sent to ownership in a separate email. 

Join the crowd for coffee (bring your own cup for free coffee) and treats! Learn about all the fun events planned; new and returning volunteers stepping up to bring you great dining and entertainment opportunities and available dates for breakfast, lunches and dinners! This is a great chance to learn more about all that brings "life" to our special lifestyle in the Wilderness! Coffee/treats at 8:30; Meeting at 9:00 AM!

 

Renters & Owners are invited to vote on the purchase of a new Vision T600 Treadmill for the IWCA Fitness Center.

 

This is the first Ticket Sale opportunity for our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Tickets are $10 PP.

                                                                                                 
On Monday, November 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM , KW will be hosting a website tutorial to assist members who may be having difficulty getting on the new web site. We will go  the step by step process of logging in, troubleshooting the password reset and navigating the site.  

 

The office will close from 2:00-300 PM this day so Irene can assist owners in the meeting.

New talent brings a fresh twist to Third Fridays on the pool deck! If you play a band instrument, bring it! We have bass players, maybe some brass players, harp players-even Norma is coming to play spoons! If you are a vocalist, we need you! BYOB, a chair, a snack to share, sit back and enjoy the music! Sing a little, dance a bit! Show up and see which friends and neighbors are entertaining you!

Bring your own coffee! Treats provided by the Activities Committee! There's a lot happening in our sweet community! This meeting is where you find out what's really happening in "The Wilderness"! Our event leaders are gearing up! You've likely seen the pickleball, shuffleboard and petanque.players out on the sports courts! Can cards, bridge, nickel-nickle, pinochle, euchre, dominos, majongh be far behind? How about eight-ball in the billiards room? Aquasize, water aerobics, water polo, line dancing? Out of park activities like bowling at Headpinz and ladie's and men's golf leagues at The Links? This is where you find out all about start dates,times and sign-up sheets!

We will also have tickets on sale for various event like the "First Hurrah"! See y0u there!

The Chris Donato/Tom & Pat Manarolla/Carmen & Ron Rogers crew have committed to serve Thanksgiving dinner. Turkeys, hommade dressing/struffing and gravy will be provided and served! Side tables will be set up for your own favorite regional side dishes! Tables of 8-10 will be available. Get your friends and neighbors together and be prepared to reserve your table and buy your tickets beginning after the Activiites Meeting on Monday, November 14. Ticket sales will continue  Wednesday, November 16 and Saturday, November 19. Ticket price is $10 PP.

 

BYOB and tableware, plus your side dishes. This is a treasured traditional holiday meal. Our table has been made bigger. If you have family in the Naples area you'd like to share Thanksgiving with, you are welcome to invite them to Thanksgiving dinner.

Now that the clubhouse is open, the ever popular Ice Cream Social returns in 2022! Bring your own bowl and spoon (sustainability) and enjoy a scoop or two! Toppings provided! Monday morning Activities Committee Meetings are a great way to start the week. Free coffee is offered to those that bring their own cups (Reduce Reuse Recycle). Volunteers often have sweet treats to offer each week! You'll find out about new owners and renters as they introduce themselves. Activity leaders update their activities and invite new participants to join in! Tickets are often on sale for all ticketed events following the meeting! It's a wonderful way to "be in the know", offer to volunteer and engage in the community-bulding we are noted for! See you there?

Fitness Center quarterly maintenance is scheduled from 11 AM - 4 PM as a window when Gary Deaton will be on site. While Gary is here, the Fitness Center will be closed to residents. The Activities Committee has contracted with Gary to keep all of our machines in pristine condition. Thanks for treating each piece of equipment with care; after all, as owners and renters we've paid for it!  Remember to wipe down each piece of equipment that you use. Towels and disinfectant are provided for that reason. Enjoy and "keep moving"!

In celebration of our veterans and the reopening of the Clubhouse, you could call this event "The First Hurrah" of the 2022-23 season!

 

Jerry B. is a popular singer and entertainer on the nightclub circuit and on cruise lines. Jerry will bring jazz, blues, Motown and Ratpack Classics to Imperial Wilderness as a tribute to our Veterans. All vets attend free as our way of saying "Thank You for your service to our country"! For everyone else, tickets are $5! Come to the Monday Activities Meeting to find out ticket sale dates!
