"Bruno the Crooner" returns to IW for this season's "First Friday on The Pool Deck"! BYOB, a snack to share if you like and a comfortable chair! Folks love First Friday whether they are floating on a noodle in the pool, enjoying the music from inside the pool cage or on the pool patio! There's lots of dancing too so come on down! This is a "Pass the Hat" event.

 

Thanks for leaving no trace, putting chairs back in place and leaving the pool area ready for the next users.

 

A delightful addition to the November Calendar! Caldwell's and their culinary crew will be servng Breakfast Burritos or a traditional breakfast with bagels. $7 PP!

"Season" is starting off with a culinary bang! The Caldwell's have assembled their lunch crew and will be serving meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy! Yummy comfort food! $7 PP

This is the first Monday morning meeting of "Season"! Be sure to attend! There's are many fun activities happening in November and this is where you get the scoop! We will announce Veteran Appreciation events free to our veterans. We will thank all that have stepped up to offer a wonderful summer and fall season of activities. We will introduce you to the folks that work behind the scenes to plan and execute all of our dances, concerts, meals and special events. You will even hear about volunteer opportunities as a way to engage. All renters and residents are welcome along with your guests. Bring your own cup for free coffee and some jingle for treats! Don't forget to get your free raffle ticket when you enter....you may just win a fabulous prize. This all happens on Monday mornings!

The Activities Committee meets weekly in the Library beginning at 8:30 am. Do you have questions? Want to volunteer to help with an event or do you want to bring a new idea/activity forward? Do you have a purchase request for your activity? A request for reimbursement? You can drop by after 10 am. If tickets are on sale on Wednesday, the door opens at 11:00 AM.

Event Leaders are invited to submit articles so all will know what's happening in "The Wilderness"! Don't be late! This is such an important communication for our residents! We appreciate all the work that goes into "The Voice of the Wilderness"!

 

The Voice of the Wilderness is available free of charge in the Clubhouse.

The Brunch Committee is meeting after the Activities Meeting on Monday to finalize the menu and fill out volunteer schedules.

We need a prep crew on Friday morning and a crew on Saturday to prep, set up, serve and clean up. 

 

The Manarolla's are teaming up to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner once again, complete with turkey, homemade dressing (or stuffing) and gravy. Bring your regional sides and join the IWCA Family as we carry on a wonderful holiday tradition in "The Wilderness."

 

BYOB and tableware, plus your side dishes. This is a treasured traditional holiday meal. Our table has been made bigger. If you have family in the Naples area you'd like to share Thanksgiving with, you are welcome to invite them to Thanksgiving dinner.   Table set-up after 2 PM

 

Tickets go on sale Monday, November 13 after the Activities Meeting $10 PP.

Additional ticket sale dates are Wednesday, November 15 during lunch and Saturday, November 18th during breakfast.
