Every Monday, you will receive a rundown of all of the daily/weekly events in "The Wilderness" along with sale dates for ticketed events. New owners and renters are introduced, important announcements are made and votes are taken on Activity Committee expenditures over $1500. There's a lot to know about all that happens in our community! Bring your own coffee cup for free coffee and a little "jingle" for treats! Owners and renters are welcome and are welcome to vote on major expenditures!

 

 

The Activities Committee meets weekly. If you are an event leader with questions, want to propose a new event or activity or are requesting reimbursement, please drop by at 10 AM. Activity Committee meetings are open to owners and renters.

We have a splendid evening of appreciation planned for IW's Veterans!!! Jeff showed up at a Friday event in 2023 and entertained the crowd with a few songs! You suggested we invite him back! A DJ with a piano and a fine voice, Jeff plays dance music and is sure to entertain us for the evening. 

 

In addition to free admission for our veterans, Sue Benyo will offer free raffle tickets to veterans to win whatever fabulous prizes she's come up with. Add a 50/50 raffle to the fun along with BYOB and snacks and we have a fabulous evening of fun.

The Caldwell Crew serves $5 "Pop-Up" Burgers and Dogs in the Clubhouse! This is the best deal in all of Naples and a crowd favorite! Condiments provide! BYOB. Delicious fare....see you there!

Bruno is first up on the "First Friday" of December on the Pool Deck! BYOB, a snack and a chair for Happy Hour! Pass the Hat! Remember, this is a "pop-up" event! No one is in charge, so set-up and clean-up is your responsibility! In case of inclement weather, the event will move into the Clubhouse, concluding by 6 PM. Don't forget your dancing shoes!

The Birdsley Crew always serves up a fabulous breakfast! See you there for the best $7 breakfast in Naples!

IW'S fabulous crafters and artisans kick off the holiday shopping season with the first show of the season! Come early for breakfast by the Birdsley Crew and "shop local" for everything from cards to original art! There will be a raffle and maybe a bake sale! See you there!

The Chicken Shoot must be experienced at least once! If you are new to the community or haven't participated mark your calendars! This is a rite of passage in Imperial Wilderness. It's five bucks to cluck.....no extra cost for belly laughs! It's a simple game and waaaaay toooooo much fun! BYOB, some money for side bets at your table if you choose and any chicken paraphernalia you own for good luck! See you there! No need to feel cooped up (see what i did there)! Doors open at 6:30 (there's usually a line (no kidding) and the games start at 7 PM and conclude by 9 PM. The only other thing you need to know is there are 39 chickens to shoot and ice cream at intermission so bring some jingle for a treat!

No one does "Taco Tuesday" like the Caldwell Crew! This is a crowd favorite so arrive early for Happy Hour at 4PM Tacos are served at 5 PM. Chicken and/or beef tacos; hard or soft shell and all the toppings you can imagine. There's always a side. Taco Tuesday is really fun! $7 PP! Cash, card or a coupon from your purcchased coupon book!  See you there!

This brunch is a sweet tradition in "The Wilderness". Five buffet stations are set up for your leisurely dining pleasure. Start your morning with delicious "Jingle Juice" featuring Carole's wildly popular spiked egg nog, along with flavored water, coffee and holiday flavorings. The Spinach Salad Bar is a favorite featuring the best hot bacon/cherry dressing imaginable and all the toppings. The Omelet Station features made to order omelets of choice and the hot buffet features twice smoked ham and the chef's choice for other items! Finish up with a delightfully decadent dessert table! Five Bucks to BUNCO! This is a really fun way to spend a Saturday night with friends! It's a dice game-really easy to play with winners at the end of the evening! Everything is set for you-just show up with five bucks and $1 for ice cream at intermission! No special skills needed-just a willingness to have fun with friends new and old!

The New Horizon's Band is a lovely addition to our Holiday Celebrations in "The Wilderness"! Director Ken Karper and the musicians that comprise this community band had its' humble beginnings here at IW 20+ years ago under the direction of the Ernst Brothers! Now comprising 60+ members, the NHB returns to IW with their annual Christmas concert. They provide the "Tweets" and we provide the "Sweets" with a cake reception following the concert. Former members of the concert band return to greet their IW friends. It's a "feel good" evening! This is a free event though we "pass the hat" as always to assist the band with their expenses.

Called a "Blue Plate Special" because the Caldwell Crew is offering a new lunch option! Enjoy a "Barbie Special"-a Chicken Sandwich or a hot dog with a special side! Add in lemonade, iced tea and condiments and you've got a $7 meal deal-only at your Clubhouse-the best lunch deal in Naples! (Cash or card for payment). Coupon books will also be available and a handy way to make your breakfast, lunch and Taco Tuesday purchases convenient!

A Christmas Golf Cart Parade like no other! Decorate your golf cart or bike, or walk along in costume! There are fabulous prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! A special "Parade Marshall" is chosen annually to lead the parade. There are numerous caroling stops and "Elf Stops" along the route that are way too much fun featuring beverages and hors de vours! Lots of laughs and camaraderie followed by an ice cream social in the clubhouse and an awards ceremony for the Christmas Lighting Contest and parade winners! Spectator or participant-you do not want to miss this!

MAGNOLIA/BEST BUY TECHNICIANS WILL BE ONSITE TO ADJUST THE NEW 147" SCREEN AND DO SOME TRAINING WITH OUR A/V VOLUNTEERS. IT WILL BE A SHORT TECH VISIT AND WE WILL TRY NOT TO INTERFERE WITH TABLE TENNIS FROM 1:30-3:30.

Merry Christmas Eve! The Caldwell Crew is serving a delicious Italian Dinner on Christmas Eve. Happy Hour is at 4 PM Dinner is at 5 PM. BYOB and hors de vours. The menu includes spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, garlic bread, dessert, lemonade and iced tea. Price PP is $10 (Cash or Card). Live sing-a-long Christmas carols and hot chocolate will follow dinner. Table settings provided.

New Years Eve is always fun and festive in the Clubhouse! Ring in the New Year to the Sounds of the N2L TRIO! Three part harmony and three lead singers promise plenty of variety and lots of great dance music. The clubhouse is decorated for anew year celebration! Cost PP: $25
