FIRST HURRAH/VETERANS APPRECIATION w/Jimmy K

All Veterans will be honored at the First Hurrah with free admission. Sue Benyo will honor each veteran with a beautiful handmade gift as she does each year. The Imperial Wilderness quilters have made a "Quilt of Valor" for veterans, so be sure to fill out your ticket for a free drawing! This is a beautiful heirloom quilt made by our own quilters! (A separate Quilt of Honor has been made for Canadian eveterans and will be given at an upcoming event. Poutine Lunch???)

Join your friends for a lovely evening of entertainment at "The First Hurrah of the IW Season" and honor our veterans. Jimmy K plays a great selection of soft rock and rock & roll dance music! You say you want to dance! We listen!

Holiday Craft Fair

This is a beloved annual holiday tradition in "The Wilderness"! IW boasts very talented artisans! The Craft Fair sign-up sheet for vendors is in the Multi-Purpose Room and there is no charge to vendors! Additional details will be available at Monday Activity meetings! Don't forget to bring a little "Jingle" for the craft raffle"!

CHICKEN SHOOT!

Saturday, December 6th, 2025, 6:30pm to 9pm at IWCA Clubhouse

Participation in the Chicken Shoot is a right of passage in "The Wilderness"! It's five bucks to cluck. Bring a little jingle for the 50/50 and $1 for ice cream at intermission. BYOB & snacks if you like! Imperial Wilderness has a lock on this event! Think poker chips, one laminated sheet with 3 playing cards, 39 chickens (well 40 if you count the live one) and one Rooster! See you there. You can practice the Chicken Dance beforehand to be better prepared!

The Christmas Brunch returns to Imperial Wilderness! Five food stations are available including a hot ham buffet! Visit the Spinach Salad Bar featuring hot bacon and hot bacon cherry dressing-this stuff is so good you'll beg to buy some to take it home! A made to order omelet station and a gourmet dessert bar round out the food! Don't forget the Jingle Juice Bar with Carol's Homemade Eggnog!

Coffee (w/a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream liquor if you like), tea and fruit infused water!

It's festive! We encourage all of our guests to leisurely visit all of the stations, enjoy the lovely decorations and visit with friends new and old. AS with all holiday meals, your friends and family from outside IW are welcome at our table!

Holiday Golf Cart Parade & Lighting Contest

This is not your average golf cart parade! There are numerous neighborhood stops to enjoy a little jingle juice and wonderfully creative holiday treats. Fabulous prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in the cart decorating contest and in the lighting contest. Carolers are at the Elf Stops! Awards presented Monday morning at the Activities Meeting!
