Once a month, Janet Figura and her crew come up with a great breakfast menu to feed the masses! Check out the menu board in front of the clubhouse to see what's being served up and show up to start the day with your breakfast buddies! 

The Church of the Wilderness is open to all. It is self supporting and non-denominational. A warm welcome is extended to all who choose to worship. Our organist and choir provide great worship music! Coffee is served at the conclusion of the service. This is a wonderful way to meet your neighbors and you avoid the hurry and traffic of "Season".

This annual event will take a new twist this year! "Chili Bob" and Cheri Storc & Crew will serve up chili, salad, corn bread and ice cream sandwiches for the Super Bowl. "Squares" will be sold leading up tp the Super Bowl. The big screen tv will be on for the super bowl and the library tv will also be available for the quieter Super Bowl audience. 

Team attire encouraged. Tickets $6 PP!

Our County Commissioner Donna Fiala will make her annual visit to Imperial Wilderness. Her update on all things happening in East Naples will take place immediately following the Activities Meeting! Prep for Fashion Show Luncheon

The Ladies Luncheon & Fashion Show is one of the most beloved traditions at IWCA. The theme is "Colors of the Rainbow" to reflect bold and beautiful colors in 2019. Patchington's of Marco Island is the featured clothier for twelve female models; Izod & Van Heusen will provide fashions for eight male models. Mickey Dent & Crew are preparing Quiche Lorraine paired with a lovely green salad, homemade dressing, rolls, beverage and a beautiful rainbow mousse for dessert. This event is sold out! Please "car and cart pool" to maximize parking at the Clubhouse!

 

Doors open at 11:30. Lunch at 12:15. Fashion Show 1PM.

Walk, bike, drive! Check out Panther Pass, Leopard and Bass Lanes, Imperial Wilderness Boulevard, Cheetah and Cattleya Refuge for unbelievable deals! One man's trash is another's treasure! This is the only time of the year that your surplus can be sold from your driveway and we open the gates to the public! Don't forget breakfast! Jo W. is the event leader who will be sharing details with you closer to the date!

Desserts handmade by IWCA bakers are auctioned off to generous bidders! Fast & furious, bakers compete for top honors! It's a blast and the auction is preceeded by a soup and sandwich supper prepared by the Tureks. They are serving up a delicious baked Monte Christo sandwhich,(gluten free available), homemade Minnestone Soup, chips and a drink for $7. This is a very high energy event thanks to competitive (but friendly) bidders! Often the purchased desserts are shared at the event or show up at potlucks! All proceeds go to your Activities Committee to reinvest back into our community ammenities. Join in the fun!

Meet at 9AM sharp at the Clubhouse; bikes on the car with helmets and water bottles. Depart for Everglade City. Enjoy a 15 mile bike ride! Lunch is at the Cuban Restaurant in Everglade City around noon!  See Don, Lot 283 for more details! Yay for the bikers for having an organized ride!

All are welcome no matter what your fiber arts project! Bring in your hand stitching, Swedish weaving, embroidery, pieced quilts, meditation squares, handmade dolls-you name it! Get your creativity going and bring a dish to pass! You will enjoy the camaraderie, the amazing creativity and the stimulating conversation! Potluck questions? See Betty! Tommy T has a regular following in Naples, including a contingent from "The Wilderness"! Because they are such loyal fans, Tommy wants to show his appreciation to them so he's performing at IWCA! Come to dance and sng karaoke with The Girls" and their friends (that's YOU)! BYOB and finger food! Yes, it's FREE! Stay tuned for additional details!

Chris Durgin, SkyMed representative will give a 30 minute presentation on air ambulance and travel insurance. There is no cost to the event. All are welcome including exisiting SkyMed clients at IWCA. In the event of illness, air ambulance costs to get you home are prohibitively expensive. You will gain insightful information into one-time travel insurance or annual coverage to reduce your out of pocket expenses. Sign-up sheets are in the multi-purpose room.

A noun for a Hawaiian party or feast, especially one accompanied by entertainment!

 

The Luau is a new event for "The Wilderness" in 2019!  Yvonne and Bob have planned this fun event to include a delicious Hawaiian meal featuring roast pork, Hawaiian macaroni salad, coleslaw, rolls and Hawaiian cake for dessert! Nevada Smith provides the entertainment!

 

Nevada Smith, local entertainer and guitarist, will be making his Imperial Wilderness debut at the luau! Nevada’s style is smooth variety with a mix of blues. Nevada will be covering the best tunes from The Eagles to Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley to Stevie Ray Vaughan. He even supplies music for those who want to get down and boogie, so make sure to get your tickets early! This will be a sell-out!
