The Activities Committee meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. If you have questions, would like to propose an event or have business with the Activities Committee you are welcome to attend at 10 AM.

Cindi Jackson, a new seasonal resident of IW, will bring her artistic talents to the forefront on Saturday, February 5th from 12-3 pm and help those that would like to "brush up" on their painting technique and those that have never painted create their own acrylic masterpiece!   A 10 x 10 canvas will be provided along with acrylic paint. You are invited to bring your own beverage to sip along with a snack. A ball jar or sturdy container is a must to clean your brushes. Bring your brushes if you have 'em! An apron will keep you clean. The subject matter is a beautiful SW Florida scene! It's beautiful and Cindi promises you will create a masterpiece to grace your wall. Cost is $25 per person with each class limited to 15 participants. Step by step instruction creates a very enjoyable day. You will be amazed at the artist within you! Additional information including prepaid reservations will be available at Monday morning Activities Meetings in the clubhouse. The class will be repeated on Saturday, March 5th from 12-2 pm. $5 Bucks to Cluck! This is an indescribable event! Chicken Little shows up. Sometimes the Colonel shows too! A combo bingo/poker format is easy and fun. Feel free to buy multiple cards to increase your competitiveness! Change out your cards if you're not yelling "Chicken Shoot"! 39 Rotissierre chickens will find a new home! Side bets encouraged - maybe  even a little chicken dance. Bring your own snacks and beverages!

The Pet Parade returns to the Wilderness! Dress your pet in your winning-ist Valentine's Day outfit for a chance to win fabulous prizes. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded to the best costumed pet. You can't win if you don't enter! Joyce H. is the event leader. Sign up sheets will be available outside the clubhouse at 12:45 pm. Judging will include a small parade of leashed pets, beginning under the portico and continuing along the paved walkway! Come out and cheer on our pets and their proud owners!

The Superbowl Party returns to Imperial Wilderness in 2023! Yay! Rick P. and his crew promise great food and an entertaining venue to keep the "super" in Superbowl!

Gather in the clubhouse if you are inclined to watch the Superbowl! The Cinncinnati Bengals take on the Los Angeles Rams. Bring your own beverages and your snacks, or a complete tailgate party if you like. Bring your own paper goods! It's a pop-up party. No one is in charge. You are each responsible for your own clean-up. The "Rick and Barbie" crew will make sure the big screen TV and soundbar will be on. You are also welcome to gather for quieter viewing in the library.

This is the Activities Committee Election Day. If there is an election (more than five candidates running), the Election Committee will conduct the election. Renters and owners are eligible to vote.

Don and Lesly comprise Cahlua & Cream and are voted the best in entertainment in "Gulf Shore Life" magazine's poll two years consecutively.  Their repertoire includes a broad spectrum of music ranging from Broadway, jazz and contemporary to original selections.   BYOB and snacks and dance the night away! Tickets are $15 pp.

This annual yard sale allows you enjoy breakfast in the Clubhouse and buy or sell treasures. The gates are open to our neighbors. This is always a fun event to haggle with your neighbors or give items from your household a new home! Sign up sheets for tables to borrow for your driveway set-up will be in the MP room prior to the event.

The Pickleball Players have stepped up to host a breakfast on Saturday, February 26th, closing out a busy month of eating, dancing and playing! Thank you Pickleball Players, led by Rick and Ann Guild!

Have you been following all of the exciting Petanque Tournament play on the courts at night? They are having a blast! The Petanque Tournament Pizza Party is scheduled for Saturday, February 26. The Clubhouse is reserved at 4:30 for 30 people tournament participants!.  If weather permits they may move gathering on the outside pool deck.  Pizza/salad/dessert is planned along with presentation of a trophy plaque to the winning team.  Don and Doris P, Event Coordinators
