IW 8 Ball Pool Tournament

All men and women are welcome; all play levels welcome.
This is a double elimination tournament! Sign-up sheet in the pool room.

CHICKEN SHOOT!
Saturday, March 1st, 2025, 7pm to 9pm at IWCA Clubhouse
The Chicken Shoot must be experienced at least once! If you are new to the community or haven't participated mark your calendars! This is a rite of passage in Imperial Wilderness. It's five bucks to cluck.....no extra cost for belly laughs! It's a simple game and waaaaay toooooo much fun! BYOB, some money for side bets at your table if you choose and any chicken paraphernalia you own for good luck! See you there! No need to feel cooped up (see what i did there)! Doors open at 6:30 (there's usually a line (no kidding) and the games start at 7 PM and conclude by 9 PM. The only other thing you need to know is there are 39 chickens to shoot and ice cream at intermission so bring some jingle for a treat!

A BEACH PARTY RALLY BY JOANNE & FRIENDS!
Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, 1pm at IWCA Clubhouse & Around The Wilderness
This is a brand new event by a brand new event leader! Joanne isn't new to volunteering though so hold on to your seats for a very fun, new event in "The Wilderness"! A "rally" in Canada is akin to a treasure hunt in IW!
You will turn your purchased ticket in at the Clubhouse on the day of the event, receive a list of clues, and a wristband. Then you'll meander around the public areas of Imperial Wilderness (no private property, please) looking for the answer to your clues. This is not a timed "race" so take your time and enjoy the camaraderie!
Return to the clubhouse when finished, qualify for fabulous cash prizes, enjoy Happy Hour (BYOB) and a great supper prepared by the Caldwell Crew including Hot Sub "Rally" Sandwiches, Joanne's "rally good" homemade coleslaw, chips, lemonade and ice cream cups!
This will be a sold out event-get your tickets early!

Acrylic Painting Class w/Anita Baker

Anita Baker is a self taught watercolor artist that has taken workshops with award winning watercolor artist such as Graham Berry, Soon Warren, Susan Stuller and Carrie Waller. Anita has won awards for her paintings and has been commissioned to paint portraits for clients thru out the United States. Her painting style can be described as enhanced realism. By using saturated color with special attention to the play of light and shadow she brings her paintings to life. She is a signature member of the Virginia Watercolor Society and member of the South Carolina Watercolor Society,Southern Watercolor Society and Women in Watercolor. She is excited to teach acrylic painting and share the joy of painting.
Join in to have fun painting a Florida themed image. The class will be completed using acrylic paint on a 9”x11” stretched canvas. No experience required. All supplies will be provided for class. Registration required. $25 PP/Limit 15 participants. Stay tuned for ticket sale dates
